Natalie Bennett has revealed the Green Party has added 5,000 new members since election night in a phenomenon the party leader has dubbed "green surge 2".

In an exclusive interview with BusinessGreen, Bennett said the failure to secure more than one seat despite recording over a million votes had not deterred a new wave of members from signing up to the party, continuing a membership surge that has seen it more than quadruple its membership in the past year.
